about

This is an instrumental track I happened to write and record in the space of an hour in the studio at the end of the night; and one of those one’s where it just spills out and your fingers turn in to magic wands. I only realised after I had finished that it had the identical chord progression to the chorus of ‘Bermuda Triangle’ but in a different key. This was quite weird and cryptic and it seems to act as some kind of fugue within the record. The track encapsulates elements of the early progressive instrumentals I recorded at home in Yetts o’ Muckhart, where I’d build up different synth layers and atmospherics over the same chord progression.
